Ask the friend if she would be okay with you dating him or just been friend with him. If she says it’s okay then go for it but if she say no then you have to work that out between both of you. You don’t want to be the reason she start cutting again then talk to her. Decide on what you will do not to hurt her and if she said no but u went for it anyway; think about it; is the guy worth to come between a lasting friendship. People learn the harder way
